Is Dining Service Provided?

Absolutely! We are thrilled to offer a vibrant dining experience for all residents. Those residing in suites without kitchens are required to participate in our dynamic dining program for the entirety of their lease. For residents in suites with fully-equipped kitchens, you have the flexibility to opt in or out.

Our dining program is expertly managed by The University of Toronto and takes place in our expansive 9,000 sq. ft. dining hall, featuring All You Care to Eat Access Meal Plans. These plans allow you to indulge in a variety of delicious options with a specified number of entry swipes each week. Enjoy the freedom to choose what you want and how much you wish to savour with each swipe! For University of Toronto students, your Access Meal Plans, Dining Dollars, and TBucks will be conveniently loaded onto your TCard at the start of the meal plan. Non-University of Toronto students will receive a meal card upon move-in.

Unused Dining Dollars, including any additional funds added throughout the year, will seamlessly transition to Food Services Campus Flex Dollars at the conclusion of the academic meal-plan period. These can be utilized for food, beverages, and other items at participating Food Services locations starting in May. Please note that Access Meal Plans are non-refundable, and there are no discounts, credits, or refunds for unused entry swipes.

The Access Meal Plans operate on a weekly cycle, beginning on Sunday and concluding on Saturday, and is essential for the Fall, Winter, and Summer semesters. We encourage you to review the Access Meal Plan options carefully to select the perfect fit for your dining needs at the time of application:

Unlimited Access – Enjoy unlimited entry swipes per week to the CampusOne Dining Hall, with the option of up to five (5) entry swipes weekly at Chestnut, Oak House, or New College Dining Commons.
Access 14 – This plan offers 14 entry swipes per week to the CampusOne Dining Hall, with any unused swipes expiring at the week's end. Entry swipes reset to 14 each week, and you can use up to three (3) swipes at Chestnut, Oak House, or New College Dining Commons. Please note that unused Access 14 swipes do not carry over to the following week.
Summer Meal Plan – Available for breakfast only, 7-days a week, this plan provides one (1) entry swipe per day throughout the summer meal-plan period.

Access Meal Plan holders are welcome to dine with guests who do not have a meal plan; however, guests must pay the meal period entrance fee at each visit (options include debit, credit, TBucks, Flex Dollars, or Dining Dollars). Access Meal Plan entry swipes cannot be used for guest entries.

Meals are eat-in only.

What Is Renters Insurance, And Do I Need It?

Yes! Personal Property Insurance is required to live at CampusOne Student Residence. Personal Property Insurance (sometimes referred to as “Renters’ Insurance”) can protect your valuables, such as laptops or expensive textbooks from theft or damage, providing you with peace of mind that you’re covered if something happens. Policies should cover personal property and personal liability coverage, and additional living expenses.

For our residents’ convenience, we’ve partnered with Summit Insurance, one of Canada’s leading insurance providers for students.

Do You Offer Roommate Matching?

Yes! Once we receive a signed Lease Agreement, residents are invited to create a profile in Please Don't Snore, which is our roommate matching solution for finding the best roommate match. Through the power of self-selection, residents take control of their living space. Matches that are mutual, based on real preferences, and made in an inclusive environment will nurture empowered, satisfied residents. Note roommate matching services via Please Don't Snore are available for the Fall season only and assignments are subject to change.

Does CampusOne Student Residence Accept Packages on My Behalf?

Yes! For package deliveries, residents can collect them at the first-level front desk upon receiving an email notification from our team. Additionally, residents can pick up regular mail from the designated mailboxes on our second level.
